File: N/A

Details:

On Thursday, April 18, 2024, the Southwest Sheriff’s Station conducted a registered offender compliance check at the residences of 74 registered sex offenders throughout the Southwest Sheriff’s Station jurisdiction. Seventy-two registered offenders were contacted and in compliance. Two registrants were determined to be out of compliance and in violation. The Southwest Sheriff’s Station aggressively pursues prosecution of those sex registrants who fail to comply with their registration requirements. The Southwest Sheriff’s Station will conduct similar compliance operations to verify that registered offenders live at their reported residences and adhere to any probation or parole terms. Riverside County residents can visit the Megan’s Law website at www.meganslaw.ca.gov to familiarize themselves with the sex registrants in their community.
