On July 19, 2020, at 3:23 AM, La Quinta patrol deputies responded to multiple residential burglaries in the 53000 block of Avenida Juarez, in the city of La Quinta. The investigation was assumed by the La Quinta Special Enforcement Team. During the investigation, the suspect was positively identified as Kejuan Leon Friend, 27-years-old of Los Angeles.
On August 6, 2020 at 9:20 AM the La Quinta Special Enforcement Team located Friend in the city of El Monte. Friend was taken into custody without incident. With the assistance of the Los Angeles Police Department, the team served a search warrant in the 11400 block of Success Avenue, in the city of Los Angeles. Friend was booked into the Riverside County Jail in Riverside.
