On April 3, 2024, at 9:55 a.m., Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station patrol deputies were dispatched to the 36000 block of Mustang Spirit Lane in Wildomar in reference to a residential burglary, where several electronics were stolen from the residence. Deputies arrived, began their investigation, and ultimately identified Tony Duong, a 35-year-old resident of Murrieta, as the suspect.
On April 4, 2024, the Lake Elsinore Station’s Special Enforcement Team and Robbery/Burglary Suppression Team continued the investigation. Duong was located in Murrieta and taken into custody without incident. Deputies served a search warrant at a residence and located the stolen items, which were later returned to the victim. Duong was transported and booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center for residential burglary and outstanding arrest warrants.
During the investigation, it was discovered Duong may be responsible for additional thefts in the Wildomar area. Anyone with additional information is encouraged to contact Deputy Noel or Deputy Hermes at the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station (951) 245–3300.
