Update:

Investigators with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Central Homicide Unit continued their investigation into the murder of Roshadd Johnson, a 41-year-old resident of Moreno Valley.

On April 8, 2024, after an extensive investigation, two suspects were located in the city of Las Vegas and arrested for their involvement in the murder. Tatiana Tene Parks, a 34-year-old former resident of San Bernardino, and Michael Dwight Harris, a 34-year-old resident of North Las Vegas, were arrested by officers from the Las Vegas Metro Police for active felony arrest warrants. Parks and Harris were booked into the Clark County Jail, Las Vegas. Harris was charged with murder, and Parks was charged with accessory to murder.

Update:

On Sunday, January 28, 2024, at 7:28 a.m., the shooting victim, a 40-year-old male resident of Moreno Valley, succumbed to his injuries sustained from the earlier incident. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Central Homicide Unit was notified and assumed control of the investigation. The victim’s identity is currently being withheld pending next of kin notification.

Details:

On Sunday, January 28, 2024, at 1:46 AM, deputies from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to a report of a shooting at a residence in the 13600 block of Red Mahogany Drive in Moreno Valley. Deputies arrived within minutes and located a victim who had been shot. Paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Deputies contacted witnesses and located evidence at the scene. The suspect, described as an adult male in his 20’s, with curly brown hair, wearing a black sweatshirt and black sweatpants, fled prior to the arrival of deputies and remains at large.
