Details:

On Tuesday, October 7, 2020, at 10:55 PM, deputies from the Moreno Valley Station responded to a call of an assault with a deadly weapon in the 22900 block of Allies Place, in the city of Moreno Valley.

Deputies arrived on scene and located a male adult suffering from life-threatening injuries. Deputies rendered medical aid until emergency medical personnel arrived. The suspect(s) fled the scene prior to deputies arrival. Unfortunately, the male victim died at the location due to the injuries. The decedent has been identified as 42-year-old Deshaun Jefferson from Perris.

Investigators form the Moreno Valley Station and the Central Homicide Unit responded and assumed the investigation. This is an active investigation, and no additional details are currently available.
