Asia Toki

Investigators from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Central Homicide Unit have been working toward developing leads on a homicide that occurred on March 22, 2020, in the city of Moreno Valley. The decedent, 30-year-old Alaimaluloa Toki, died as a result of the assault. The investigation revealed that 30-year-old Asia Toki, the victim's wife, was responsible for the homicide. Investigators presented the case to the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office, and charges of murder were filed against Asia Toki, who was arrested and booked into custody.

On Sunday, March 22, 2020, at 11:25 PM, deputies from the Moreno Valley Station responded to a call of an assault with a deadly weapon in the 22900 block of Adrienne Avenue in the city of Moreno Valley.

Deputies arrived on scene and found a male suffering from a life-threatening injury. Deputies rendered medical aid until emergency medical personnel arrived. The male was transported to a local hospital where he died.

The suspect(s) involved in this incident fled the area prior to deputies arrival. Investigators from the Moreno Valley Station and the Central Homicide Unit responded and assumed the investigation. The decedents’ name is being withheld pending next of kin notifications.
