Details:
On Thursday, June 6, 2021, patrol deputies assigned to the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station responded to a call for service regarding a past theft that occurred at a residence in the 37000 block of Via Baya, La Cresta. Patrol deputies forwarded this information to the Investigations Bureau for further follow-up. During this investigation, Investigators determined that 34-year-old Brianne Comer from Perris had stolen numerous packages off the front porch of this residence. The total value of packages taken was approximately $1,500. Through surveillance footage, investigators identified Comer as the subject who had taken these items. Investigators contacted Comer at her residence in the city of Perris. Comer was interviewed and provided evidence depicting her involvement in this incident. Comer eventually admitted to the theft. The packages taken were found discarded at the residence. Brianne Comer was arrested and booked into a Riverside County Jail for Grand Theft and being in Possession of a Controlled Substance.
