The victim in this investigation has been identified as Kenia Valenzuela, a 27-year-old resident of the city of Perris. Details:
On January 25, 2023, at 7:23 AM, deputies from the Perris Sheriff’s Station responded to the area of El Nido Road and Santa Rosa Mine Road, in the Lake Mathews community reference a deceased body on the side of the road. When deputies arrived at the location, they found a female with obvious signs of death lying next to a dirt road. A crime scene was established and the Central Homicide Unit responded to assume the investigation. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
