On Thursday, March 29, 2023, between 9:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., deputies assigned to the Perris Station County Special Enforcement Team with the assistance of deputies assigned to the Perris City Special Enforcement Team conducted a probation compliance operation at various addresses within the communities of Nuevo, Lakeview, Homeland and Winchester. During the operation, deputies visited twenty locations and contacted ten individuals on probation for various charges. Out of the ten individuals, deputies arrested and booked into jail Teresa Esparza (32 years of Nuevo) for an outstanding felony warrant for possession of a gun while under the influence of a controlled substance, Efrain Almazan-Penaloza (33 years of Nuevo) for possession of firearm without a serial number and possession of narcotics and paraphernalia, Armando Cesar Carranza (36 years of Nuevo) for an outstanding felony warrant for domestic violence and possession of narcotics, and Rodney Wade Marsh (64 years of Nuevo) for felon in possession of a firearm, possession of short-barrel shotgun, probation violation and possession of narcotics paraphernalia.
