On Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at 3:11 a.m., deputies assigned to the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to the 23300 block of Hemlock Avenue regarding multiple gunshots heard within an apartment complex parking lot. Deputies arrived within minutes and located numerous spent shell casings between parked vehicles. Deputies also located four parked vehicles and a carport that were struck by gunfire. There were no reported injuries. The investigation is ongoing, and no additional information is available at this time.
