Details:

On Friday, June 9, 2023 at 12:23 AM, Moreno Valley Deputies responded to the 24000 block of John F. Kennedy Dr. in Moreno Valley reference an assault. Upon arrival, deputies located a 17-year-old Hispanic male victim from Perris, suffering from multiple non-life threatening puncture wounds. He was treated on scene for his injuries and transported to a local hospital for further medical care. As deputies were tending to the victim, Geraldy Diaz, a 19-year-old resident of Moreno Valley, arrived at a local hospital seeking treatment for severe laceration injuries to his hand. Deputies contacted Diaz at the hospital for his statement.

Based on evidence and witness statements, it was determined Diaz and the victim were engaged in a physical altercation at the location on John F.
