On Thursday, June 22, 2023, at 9:56 p.m., deputies from the Riverside Sheriff’s Moreno Valley Station responded to a shooting on the 16700 block of Hollyhock Drive in the City of Moreno Valley. Upon arrival, deputies learned of a car-to-car shooting near the intersection of Hollyhock Drive and Lurin Avenue. Deputies located multiple spent shell casings and one vehicle struck by gunfire. Deputies canvassed the area but were unable to locate any victims or suspects. This investigation is ongoing, and no additional information will be released at this time.
