On Sunday, August 6, 2023, at 12:21 a.m., deputies from the Moreno Valley Sheriff Station responded to a report of shooting at a residence in the 23000 block of Western Ridge Road, in the City of Moreno Valley. Deputies arrived and located evidence of a shooting but all involved parties had fled the location. While deputies were conducting the investigation, they were notified a male suffering from a gunshot wound was dropped off at the Riverside University Health System Emergency Room. Investigators from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station responded and assumed the investigation.
