Details:

On August 08, 2023, at 5:21 AM, deputies from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station received a call of a major injury traffic collision on Alessandro Boulevard east of Graham Street. Deputies, along with paramedics from CalFire, responded within minutes and located a severely injured bicyclist laying in the roadway, which had collided with a black Kia Optima. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and was cooperative with the investigation.

The bicyclist was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. East and westbound lanes of Alessandro Boulevard were closed in the immediate area to safely process the collision but has since reopened. The Moreno Valley Traffic Reconstruction Team responded and assumed the investigation.
