Details: 

On November 20, 2019, at approximately 7:37 A.M., deputies from the Perris Station responded to the report of a burglary in-progress at a business located in the 30000 Block of Haun Road, in the city of Menifee. Employees described two suspects using stolen credit cards and stealing merchandise from the business. The two suspects left the location and entered another business within the same shopping center. 

Deputies responded to the scene and located the suspects and their vehicle.  Employees from both businesses positively identified the suspects. The suspects were subsequently arrested. Deputies’ preliminary investigation revealed the suspects’ car was reported stolen out of the city of Lake Elsinore. 

While at the scene, numerous citizens in the nearby residential neighborhood reported to Sheriff’s Dispatch their vehicles were just burglarized. Deputies searched the suspects’ car and located the citizens stolen property, such wallets, purses, credit cards, U.S. Currency, and a family heirloom. The stolen property was returned to the rightful owners.

Further, during the investigation, deputies located the suspects in possession of over 75 grams of methamphetamine, 22 grams of cocaine, and 15 grams of heroin.  Adam Myers, 38 years-old of Lake Elsinore, was arrested for burglary, possession of stolen property, possession of a stolen vehicle, and possession of drugs and narcotics with intent to sale. Christian Cosentino, 28 years-old of Lake Elsinore, was arrested for burglary, possession of stolen property, theft, and possession of drugs and narcotics.  Both suspects were later booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center.
