On August 30, 2023, at 11:07 P.M., deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Moreno Valley Station responded to the report of a shooting near the 12000 block of Carnation Lane, in the City of Moreno Valley. Upon arrival, deputies located a victim suffering multiple, non life-threatening, gunshot wounds. Deputies rendered medical aid until paramedics arrived and transported the victim to the hospital for treatment. A second involved subject arrived at the hospital, also suffering a non life-threatening gunshot wound. Multiple spent shell casings were located in the alley of an apartment complex near the location. Deputies canvassed the area but were unable to locate any suspects or witnesses. Investigators from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station responded and assumed the investigation.
