On Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at 1:14 p.m., deputies from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to the report of an assault with a deadly weapon at the 16000 block of Arroyo Park Drive Moreno Valley. Deputies arrived and located a victim who had been shot. Paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital. Prior to deputies’ arrival, the suspect fled the area and remain at large. Deputies contacted witnesses and located evidence. This is an ongoing investigation, and no additional information will be released.
