In response to complaints from members of our community and at the direction of Sheriff Chad Bianco, deputies assigned to the Lake Elsinore Sheriff's Station Problem Oriented Policing Team responded to the area of Temescal Canyon Road near I-15 regarding illegal encampments along the Temescal Canyon Wash. Members from the Problem Oriented Policing offered services for substance abuse, mental health, and housing to all persons contacted. Three persons were arrested and booked into Cois Byrd Detention Center.
- Colleen Kerwin, 51, of Corona for possession of methamphetamine and trespassing.
- Ryan Spinuzzi, 38, of Corona for trespassing.
- Gregory Thomas, 60, of Corona for drug related warrants and trespassing.
