Details:
On June 12, 2020, deputies from the Perris Station Problem Oriented Policing Team learned of an illegal marijuana grow operating on the 2900 block of Susan Lane, in the city of Perris. The investigation led deputies to obtain a search warrant for the property. At the direction of Sheriff Chad Bianco, the search warrant was served on June 20, 2020. During the service of the warrant, 27-year-old Angel Quevedo of Perris, was detained inside the residence. A search of the property yielded 630 marijuana plants in various stages of growth, 2 loaded firearms, approximately 500 pounds of processed marijuana, and over $23,000.00 in US currency. All marijuana plants were subsequently eradicated from the property, and all US currency was collected for asset forfeiture. Angel Quevedo was later booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center for illegal marijuana cultivation.
