On Thursday, July 23, 2020, Deputies responded to the 19000 block of Collier Avenue, in the city of Lake Elsinore, regarding a robbery that had just occurred at a convenience store . The suspect fled on foot leaving behind the stolen vehicle he had been driving. Employees were able to provide suspect information to responding deputies and the suspect was located nearby. Darvone Brice Bogus (30 years of San Diego) was arrested and booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center for Robbery, vehicle theft, possession of stolen vehicle, and Parole Violation. During the booking process, Correctional Deputies located methamphetamine on Bogus. Bogus was charged with bringing drugs into a Detention Facility.
