In July of 2021, the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station Investigations Bureau began an investigation into allegations of sexual assault against a child. After an extensive investigation, the suspect was identified as Javier Loma Moreno, 31 years old, a resident of San Juan Capistrano, CA.
On August 13, 2021, Investigators from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station, along with members of the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station Special Enforcement Team, located and arrested Loma-Moreno without incident. Loma-Moreno was eventually transported to Cois Byrd Detention Center and booked on multiple sexual assault charges.
